Chapter Two continues directly from Chapter One. Kael, Mira, and Rook have escaped the soldiers of Asteria, but Kael is beginning to realize that the strange black fragment he found is connected to something much older—and much more dangerous—than he imagined. · This chapter should be long, cinematic, mysterious, and emotionally tense, with the characters beginning to uncover the history of the Hollow Crown while introducing the first major
