They are overwhelmed. The smells of bread, the sound of laughter, and the sight of families. · ​The Mission: They find the "rebels"—they are actually just starving parents who stole crystals to power a heater for a cold orphanage. · ​Visual: Kaelen stands over a human father. He raises his golden sword. · ​Human Father: "Please... my daughter is freezing. The Gods have everything, and we have nothing." · ​Kaelen’s Conflict: For the first time, the "Schedule" fails. He sees the child’s eyes. He sees the Solar-Nectar he drinks every day could feed this city for a year. · ​Zen: "Kill him, Kaelen. It is raining and filthy. · ​The Mission: They find the Void-Fragment inside a small church. The humans there are praying for protection. · ​Action: Kara doesn't hesitate. She unleashes Acid-Rain. The humans scream. · ​Lyra’s Reaction: She sees a human mother shielding her baby—the same way Lyra shields her own food in the Pit. A spark of "Mirror-Empathy" hits her. · ​Action: Lyra uses her Shadow-Wall to block Kara’s acid. · ​Kara: "What are you doing, Lyra? This is treason!" · ​Lyra: "The fragment is safe. The blood is unnecessary. Let’s go." · ​Action: Lyra steals the fragment but leaves the mother alive. She feels a strange, warm sensation in her chest—the opposite of the cold Void. · ​[40:00 - 45:00] THE RETURN & THE PUNISHMENT · ​Setting: Back at the bases. · ​Action: Vanguard Zenith looks at Kaelen. He knows Kaelen lied. He strikes him with the Rod of Light. · ​Zenith: "You felt 'Pity.' Pity is a human rot. You will fast for three days. No Zen-Grains. Only water." · ​Action: Viper Nox has Lyra thrown into the "Box of Silence" (a light-filled room that hurts Shadow-users). · ​Viper Nox: "You saved a human. You are lucky Malakor didn't see you. Next time, I will make you eat that child." · ​Final Shot: Kaelen and Lyra, in their respective punishments, look at their hands.
